ISLAMABAD: Hurriyat Conference delegation, headed by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, at the conclusion of their visit, interacted with various sections of Pakistani civil society in Lahore and Islamabad.
Mirwaiz and his team met members of various non political organizations in Islamabad and Lahore.
During the meetings the Hurriyat delegation apprised them about the prevailing situation in Kashmir and urged them to play a role in its final resolution. It is the time when people of Pakistan particularly the civil society should come forward and help Kashmiris in solving the problem, the delegation urged. They also asked non political organizations and intellectuals to play a role in mobilizing the opinion regarding the inclusion of Kashmiri leadership in the dialogue.
Meanwhile Prof. Abdul Ghani Bhat on Sunday met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Shareef at his Model Town residence in Lahore. This was his second meeting with the Punjab CM in last two days.
