SRINAGAR:12 persons including a Police Inspector, an employee posted at Railway Station Nowgam and Secretary of Municipal Committee Chadoora were caught smoking, in public places and a fine of Rs 2300 recovred by anti tobacco squad, headed by Shabir Ahmed Lone, Food Safety Officer Kashmir.
Other members of the team included representatives of CMO Srinagar and AK Wani and Fida Hussain, from J&K Voluntray Health Association, besides Police. The squad inspected various areas and offices, including Srinagar International Airport, Shopping complex outside Kashmir Valley School Humhama, various Coaching Centres at Parraypora, Railway Station Nowgam, Old Secretariat and DC Office.
