BUDGAM – The District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Shah today reviewed arrangements for snow clearance during winter in various areas of the district Budgam at a meeting of the concerned engineers and the officers.

He asked the engineers of the Mechanical Department to keep snow clearance machines readily available to ensure that vehicular movement does not get affected due to snowing. He said Airport road, district headquarter, tehsil headquarters, shrines and imambaras should be first priority for removing snow from the roads followed by inner link roads.

It was informed that five modern snow cutter machines shall be kept available at the district headquarter.
