JAMMU – The activists of National Conference and Congress today celebrated the victory of their respective parties in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council polls for four seats by taking out rallies in this winter capital.

Amid victory slogans and dancing to the beats of ‘dhol’, the NC workers took out rally from outside the Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, which culminated at the Chief Minister’s official residence.

They also greeted each other. “It is a peoples win,” Surinder Singh Bunty, Youth National Conference Provincial President told UNI. Mr Bunty said the clean sweep has cleared that the government is working for the welfare of the people at grass root level.
