SRINAGAR – Police claimed to have seized incriminating and seditious material, including pamphlets directing panchs and sarpanchs to resign from the office of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, headed by Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
A police spokesman said last night that Anantnag police seized incriminating material along with the office utilities including tables, chairs, blankets and gas cylinder under proper seizer memos. He said one person was also arrested from the office.
However, a Tehreek spokesman strongly denied the allegations that incriminating documents were recovered from their office.
