NEW DELHI – To honour the ambassadors of brand India, CNN-IBN, in partnership with GMR, brings the seventh edition of Indian of the Year Awards. One of the biggest and the most credible awards in Indian media, the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year 2012 will recognize the Indians whose contribution to the country in a calendar year has strengthened the foundation of our society.
In the run-up to the awards, Sagarika Ghose along with the panel of experts will talk at length about the five categories namely Politics, Sports, Business, Entertainment and Public Service. In a five- part special series, each show will profile the nominees in the category in the order as above and discuss who deserves to win and why.
