JAMMU: All Ladakh Muslim Student Association, Jammu (ALMSAJ) today organized a seminar on the topic Youm-e-Difa-e-Hurmat-Rasool Allah (SAW) at Jammu University.
The seminar was held at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Hall of the university and on the occasion Maulana Sheikh Mohammad Ali Zubdavi was Chief Guest. Maulana Sheikh Nasir Hussain Nasiri and Haji Asgar Ali Majaz, Secretary Power Development Department J&K were Guests of Honour.
Seminar started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Maulana Sheikh Nasir Hussain Nasiri. Large number of student including from other faiths attended the seminar.
While interacting Maulana Sheikh Akhtar Abass Jaun thanked All Ladakh Muslim Student Association Jammu for organizing seminar on the topic. He spoke on the philosophy of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for leading the people on the right path and detailed how Imam Hussain (A.S) saved the religion by sacrificing his family in Karbala.
Earlier welcoming the Guests and audience, Asgar Ali Yarkain Head Organizer ALMSAJ said that the aim behind organizing this seminar was to make people aware about pure Islam. Mohammad Rouf conducted the proceedings while Mohammad Ibrahim delivered vote of thanks.
