Shah-i-Hamdan Conference held at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL - Shah-i-Hamdan Conference organized by Qamria Model Higher Secondary Educational Institute Saloora Ganderbal was held in the Auditorium Hall of the Institute here today.

During the said Conference, the speakers were unanimous that Hazrat  Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA) and other Aawliya-e-Kirams not only enriched our Kashmiri literature but enlightened people about the real concept of spiritualism, amity, mutual brotherhood, communal harmony and peace.

Large number of scholars, writers, intellectuals’, eminent citizens and students of various Educational Institutes were present on the occasion. 

The Conference was presided over by MLC, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool while as eminent Scholar Moulana Bilal Ahmad Kirmani, Prof. Bashir Ahmad Nahvi, Moulana Mushtaq Ahmad and others highlighted the role and contribution of Hazrat Ameer-e-Kabeer (RA).

On the occasion, students of various schools participated in the debate and expressed their views on the topic Hazrat “Ameer-e-Kabeer (RA) Mohsin-e-Kashmir” in which Uzma Ashraf of Qamria Model School and Shahid Syed of Government Boys Higher Secondary, Ganderbal bagged first and second positions respectively while as third position was awarded jointly to Azhar Suhail of Sainik School and Ilyas Maqbool of Hanfia School Haran, Ganderbal.

At the end of Conference, the Principal, Qamria Model Educational Institute presented the vote of thanks.
