SRINAGAR – Hurriyat Conference leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Bhat has said called the restrictions on Muharram processions and difficulties created by authorities regarding basic amenities in Kashmir as the worst form of human rights violations.
Bhat, while addressing a gathering at Ghaudsuth in Budgam deplored the depriving of people from gas and other daily life related needs.
He called it unjust and unfortunate, adding that such all matters are due to unresolved Kashmir issue.
He said that people of Kashmir on one side are suffering with military violence and on other hand are deprived from basic amenities of life.
He urged world community to take notice of the Kashmir and impress upon India to stop human rights violations and give the Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination.
He paid rich tributes to the martys of area including Farooq Ahmad Butt, Abdul Rahid Dar, Gulzar Ahmad and Abdul Rashid Shaikh
