SRINAGAR – One person died and nine others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
Police said a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK013/2332 hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Ramzan Hajam son of Abdul Aziz resident of Usmania Colony, Bemina at Bypass, Bemina, Srinagar near SDA Complex. The injured person succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK02H/6355 and Sumo bearing registration number JK09/5191 collided at Sanat Nagar, Bypass, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of police station Sadder, resulting in injuries to seven passengers traveling in the Sumo. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment, said the police spokesperson.
He said, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05B/4139 and a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05/9905 collided at Lalad Crossing, Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Tarzoo, resulting injuries to Motorcyclist Showkat Ahmad son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Lalad and Aadil Ahmad son of Khursheed Ahmad Khanday resident of Lalad. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
