While talking to KNS, he expressed dismay and apprehensions over the activities of group of PRI’s under the chairmanship of Shafeeq Mir in Jammu.

Mir claimed that his group has the support of Ghulamudin Gulshan.

Meanwhile, another group of panchayat members held a meeting under the chairmanship of Sheikh Imtiyaz Afzal Beigh on Sunday at Bemina and it was reiterated that the group will not field any candidate to contest State Council elections.

“We’re for strengthening the democracy at the gross root level which isn’t possible without the implementation of 73rd amendment act 1993’, said Baig.
