SRINAGAR – As a part of awareness program, Lawrence Vidya Bhawan (Srinagar Chapter) organized its annual Conference Education-Past, Present & Future at Indoor Stadium. The conference was attended by general public, school children and highly distinguished personalities of both the state and outside. The event was chaired by Shabir Ahmad Khan, Honble minister of State for Power, CAD, Transport, Forest, Environment & Ecology, Labor & Employment and Er Rasheed, MLA Langate, social activist and enthusiastic educationist and Roma Wani, chairperson The INNER CALL and vice-chairperson Bharat Scouts & Guides were guests of the honor.
Speaking at the conference Chief Guest, Shabir Hamad Khan Honble minister of State expressed his views and said moral education besides moral values is need of the hour. Chief Executive Officer of School, Inam Un Nabi read progress report of the school. He was very optimistic to announce introduction of some novel projects for the people in the near future. The project announced includes Indigenous publication centers, creative academics, counseling centers etc. Imam said now the time has come we should stand for education reforms and to public education. Guests also distributed prizes among meritorious students of the school.
