4 dogri films screened during the mega show
JAMMU – A fortnight festivals Mega Show-2012 organised by the Department of Information from 26th of October to 11th of November, 2012 today concluded at Kala Kendra Jammu.
Special screenings of 4 dogri films, scintillating cultural programmes by local artists, painting and photo exhibitions by renowned painters, national painting camps (graphics), departmental stalls, joy rides, societys stalls, home appliances, stalls by local traders besides healthcare products and children book fair received overwhelming response from the people.
Nearly, 50 stalls including departmental stalls were established during the Mega Show.
The department of Information took an initiative to provide a conducive platform to artists for promoting the culture of the state. It also helped to promote the rich art and language making the event attractive for the people specially the young generation.
