Muharram arrangements reviewed at Pulwama

PULWAMA – To review the arrangements being put in by the district administration for forth coming Muharram-ul-Harram, Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, Mr. Shafat Noor convened an officers meeting here today.

The meeting was attended by the officers of CA&PD, Revenue, Health, R&B, Municipality, PDD and PHE.

The meeting was informed that the district administration has made adequate arrangements for availability of essential commodities which include Rice, Atta, Sugar, K. oil and firewood for the people particularly for the Shia dominated areas of the district.

Deputy Commissioner Pulwama stressed for ensuring uninterrupted power supply and drinking water facilities for the habitations of the Shia dominated areas. He also directed the Health department to provide medicare facilities and ensure availability of ambulances in these areas.

Mr. Noor asked the Municipal Committee authorities to maintain cleanliness in and around Imam Baras of the district.
