Vigilance Awareness Week concludes

BUDGAM – To educate and make the stakeholders especially the concerned officials aware about the significance of being vigilant in day to day functioning for better performance, Airport Authority of India (AAI), Srinagar International Airport organized Vigilance Awareness Week-2012 from October 19 to November 03, 2012 here today.

Among others, the awareness programme was attended by officers and officials of J&K Police, CRPF and AAI.

Director, Srinagar International Airport, Mr. V.K. Jain inaugurated the awareness week.

The motive of the programme was to ensure transparency in public procurement, for which debates, lectures, seminars were organized during the Awareness Week.

At the closing ceremony, Deputy Commissioner, Budgam while speaking emphasized for maintaining accountability and transparency in the public procurement to ensure quality.

He also distributed prizes among the winners of seminars and debates conducted during the week.
