SRINAGAR – A boy and a woman were killed and two others injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here today.
A 14-year-old, Shaheen Ahmad Kakroo, was injured when he fell down from a vehicle at Baripora on the Uri-Bijhama road in north Kashmir. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A truck hit and critically injured Raja Banu at Qaimoh in Kulgam district. She was rushed to hospital where she died.
One Tanveer Ahmad Bhat was injured when a load carrier hit his parked car at Sopore while another heavy vehicle hit and injured a two-year-old Atif Maqbool at Nowhard in Badgam. They were admitted to different hospitals, the sources said.
