SRINAGAR – Jamaat-e-Islami J&K has strongly condemned the desecration of a mosque allegedly by some nefarious elements in Bachroo Qaziabad Handwara and demanded immediate identification of the real culprits and a stern action against them.
The administration is playing a mute role towards these sensitive issues depicting the lack of the sense of responsibility in them. The persons at the helm of affairs are busy in raising the
standard of their personal life and least care for that of the public with the result that people in general are suffering badly. Moreover, lack of vigilance over the malpractices of the administration has worsened the situation and thereby the sense of accountability has been lost, said the Jamaat Spokesperon Advocate Zahid Ali in a statement issued here.
Jamaat-e-Islami J&K while strongly condemning the irresponsible role of the administration towards the sensitive public issues, cautions the public to remain vigilant against these forces who are bent upon to create a wedge amongst the Muslim Ummah here and thereby achieve their sinister designs, he added.
We should never allow anyone to cause any damage to our unity as the unity is an effective weapon to defeat the designs of the enemy, the spokesperson said.
