BUDGAM – According to District Election Officer, Budgam date for filing of claims and objections for ongoing special summary revision of photo electoral rolls-2013 with January 01, 2013 as the qualifying has been extended upto November 20, 2012.
Accordingly, all such persons who shall attain age of 18 years on the qualifying date are eligible to apply for their inclusion in the electoral rolls.
Any person who thus becomes eligible for inclusion as a voter or any existing voter whose name or other particulars may not have been incorporate correctly in the electoral roll can apply for correction as the case may be before the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and Both Level Officers (BLOs) of the relevant polling station within the specified period. Applications shall also be received by the ERO, AERO or BLO concerned upto November 11, 2012 or deletion of such voters who have expired or those who may have shifted from their places of residence.
