Srinagar – Union Secretary of Drinking Water, Sanitation and Land Resources, Pankaj Jain, who is on 4-day tour to Kashmir Valley, reviewed the progress on different Water Supply Schemes (WSS) under National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) in the State. He also reviewed the progress achieved on Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) launched by the government.
Jain also took stock of the process of Land Registration Reforms and the bottlenecks connected with it. He expressed satisfaction over the quality of work having been executed by PHE while expressing the desire to pace up the works so that the benefits of these projects percolate down to people at the earliest.

Earlier, Jain visited Water Treatment Plant (WTP) of the PHE Department at Bamzoo, Ananatnag and inspected water quality Lab and also visited Seer Hamadan Water Supply Scheme to take on the spot look.
