Srinagar – Jammu and Kashmir governor, N. N. Vohra, Monday felicitated the people on the festivals of Mahanavami and Dussehra and prayed for communal harmony, brotherhood, peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of greetings, the Governor said that these festivals symbolize the triumph of virtue and righteousness over evil and darkness. He observed that these festivals are a glorious heritage of our pluralistic traditions, which further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity.
The Governor prayed for the well-being of the people of the State on this occasion.
