Srinagar – Both factions of the Hurriyat Conference have paid tributes to the victims of the Bijbehara massacre on their 19th anniversary, saying that sacrifices of the people of Kashmir would not be allowed to be frittered away.
Irrespective of age and gender, Kashmiris have offered immense sacrifices for their acknowledged and recognised rights, and kept on nurturing their struggle despite untold oppression and persecution, the chairman of the Hurriyat (M), Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, said.

We are committed not compromise on purpose their sacrifice, and continue our our struggle to attain the goals for which the laid down their lives, the Hurriyat (G) said.
Indian policy-makers and their disciples are trying their utmost to make Kashmiris forget these sacrifices, and sell them out by coming into the streets for jobs and roads. But living nations do not forget the heroes who have sacrificed their today for the tomorrow of the masses, he said. (Observer News Service)
