Additional High Court complex constructed at a cost of Rs 4.85 Cr inaugurated
Srinagar – Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice M.M. Kumari inaugurated the additional High Court complex here today. The additional court complex has come up at a cost of Rs. 4.85 crore.
Among others, the inauguration ceremony was attended by Justice Verinder Singh, Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Justice Hasnain Masoodi, Registrar General of the High Court, . Suresh Kumar, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, . M.Y. Akhoon, President, Bar Association, . Z. A. Qureshi besides member of Bar Association.
It was given out on the occasion that the construction of additional court complex was taken up by Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation in 2006. The furnishing for the said complex was provided by R&B department and an amount of Rs. 32.22 lakhs utilized for the purpose.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice, Justice M.M. Kumar also laid the foundation stone of a Conference Hall being constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.3 crore by R&B department. The Hall shall have capacity of 150 seats and shall be completed within a period of six months, besides a park shall also be developed to augment the infrastructure.
