Srinagar – As many as 30 progressive farmers/orchardists of Srinagar district were acquainted with the measures to increase the yield of crops by adopting the latest technology besides mechanization of their fields here today.
Under the exposure visit, the orchardists visited Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (CITH) where they interacted with the scientists of the institute and discussed various issues related with increase in Production /Productivity. The orchardists were flagged off by the Director Horticulture Kashmir Mr. Mohammad Saleem Shishgar.
The farmers were accompanied by Mr. Zahoor Ahmed Bhat District Level SMS Srinagar and Mr. Manzoor Ahmed Dar Horticulture Development Officer, Srinagar.
