3 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar – Three persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

Police said a Car bearing registration number HP39B/0652 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number UP21-1/1220 at Boulward road near Hotel Heemal, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of Police Station R.M. Bagh, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Mohammad Rafiq Chachoo son of Mohammad Amin and pillion mate Muzaffar Ahmad Kaloo son of Manzoor Ahmad residents of Abi Buchwara Kohankhan Dalgate. Both the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. i20 driver escape from the spot. Both the vehicles were seized. A case has been registered in this regard.

In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK04B/1647 skidded off the road near Highgam at National Highway, Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police Station Tarzoo, resulting in injuries to one passengers Sabijan, age 40 years, wife of Bashir Ahmad Wani resident of Tangdar. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
