Srinagar – The J&K Hoteliers Club (JKHC) on Saturday stressed on creating eco- friendly tourism infrastructure at all the tourist destinations of Kashmir.
In a statement issued here Joint Secretary General JKHC, Tariq Rashid Ghani informed that a meeting was held at Grand Mumtaz hotel in Pahalgam where JKHC eco-friendly tourism infrastructure.
Ghani said that apart from the regular agenda, a range of issues relating to development of tourism were also discussed and it was decided to pursue these issues with both State and Central governments.
Statement further reads that, JKHC also decided that all efforts would be put in by the members to create eco- friendly tourism infrastructure and maintain the environmental balance, ecology, flora and fauna of the Valley.
Meanwhile JKHC also castigated government for failing to address the ongoing cooking gas crises in the state and demanded that the issue must be resolved within the weeks time.
