Srinagar - A lawmaker Wednesday while participating in a debate during the ongoing Assembly session demanded for holding plebiscite to resolve long pending Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
Participating today in the discussion over the LPG crises in the state assembly, he said, "New Delhi should stop befooling international community."
He was reacting to comments made by Congress MLAs that people of Jammu and Kashmir should feel obliged to New Delhi for providing adequate funds to the state to carry out various developmental programs. Rasheed said, "If New Delhi and its puppets in the state are so proud of their contributions and achievements made by them in the sate then Government of India should not hesitate and run away from holding plebiscite in the state."
Participating in the debate Rasheed said: "It is the unrealistic and unjustified stand of New Delhi when it claims that Kashmiris have chosen their destiny through democratic means with India by participating in elections in one way or the other."
