29 RR Volley Ball Team Reaches Semi finals

Pattan – During the inaugural match of volley ball tournament, 29 RR volley ball team won the first match and defeated the Sherpora Pattan Team at college ground Pattan.

29 RR team defeated the Sherpora Team by 03-01. Eight teams from different colleges are participating in the tournament, and it is being held on knock basis.

The tournament has been organised to boost the volley ball culture in valley. Tournament was organised by the Media Association Pattan and sponsored by police Division Pattan.

Speaking on the occasion CNS Bureau Chief North Kashmir, Saleem Yousuf said that the tournament was aimed at developing a competitive sprit among the local youth and also to provide them a platform to showcase talent.

He also said Volley Ball Tournament Would Boost Volley ball Culture and Produce Players of high quality. “It is a immaterial Who Wins Or Loses but Participation in the game is must”, said Yousuf.

Tournament was inaugurated by Station House Officer Pattan. Muhammad Abdullah Wani. He said “Sports provides opportunity to develop friendly relations with the people from various regions”.

29 RR, Srakwara,Vizer and Delina have entered into semi-final round.
