Govt Psychologically Scared: Nayeem

Srinagar, Sept 22 : Expressing anguish over not allowing the people to protest against the blasphemy, Senior resistance leader and National Front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan has said that the so called state government is afraid of the common people so it is not allowing them even to raise their voice in favour of their religion.

After his release from house arrest Nayeem Ahmad Khan while talking to the office bearers at party head office said, “so called government is not allowing the people to raise their voice in favour of their political rights and now it so afraid of the people that it restricted them from protest against the blasphemy act”.

He said, “The so called rulers are psychologically scared and they see their chair always in danger so they put curbs on common people and restrict the pro-freedom leaders to their homes or police stations every now and then”.

Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that Muslims can’t tolerate any kind of blasphemy acts and to protest against such acts is their right and duty. He also said that putting curbs on people and political leadership is nothing but such a coward act which exhibits the lawlessness. He said that such acts have encouraged many government officials to act as the cruel rulers. Nayeem Khan said that the incident which took place in Udhampur jail in which senior pro-freedom leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam was assaulted and insulted inside the jail is the latest example of lawlessness.
