LD Docs Booked For Woman’s Death

Srinagar – Police today registered a case against some doctors of Lal Ded Hospital after the relatives of a woman alleged she had died due to medical negligence.

“A lady Mst Mehbooba wife of Abdul Hamid Bhat resident of Lelahar Kakapora, Pulwama, was admitted in Lal Ded Hospital here. She was shifted to SMHS Hospital in critical condition where she expired,” said a police spokesperson.

A criminal case of alleged negligence has been registered against L D Hospital doctors in Police Station Rajbagh, the spokesperson added. However, he did not identify the accused.

Meanwhile, body of the deceased has been handed over to her relatives for last rites. (KNS)
