IUST Fest: CUK Bags 7 Prizes

The students of 3rd semester M.Sc Information Technology (IT) of the Central University of Kashmir bagged seven prizes in different events during the two day “Vastoorvan-2012” festival organized by the Department of Computer Sciences, Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST).

The team “Al-Khwarazmi Brigade,” named after famous Arab mathematician and founder of Algorithms in Computer sciences, comprised six students including Junaid, Aadil, Shameem, Nazir, Barooj and Samra. The team was led by Mr. Afaq Alam Khan, Assistant Professor. The team was also adjudged as the overall best team and received the trophy as the First Prize from Governor, Mr. N N Vohra.

The faculty of the M.Sc Information Technology (IT) Department including HoD Prof. A. M. Wani has congratulated the students for achieving the feat.
